I recorded this on the morning of February 3rd, 2010 in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray, where, amazingly, I was able to receive 94.3/97.9 Star FM Gippsland’s broadcast! For those who don’t know, Gippsland is a region which stretches from the east to the southern coast of the state of Victoria, Australia, and Footscray is all the way out in Melbourne’s inner Western Suburbs! There must be a strong signal from “Gippsland and Melbourne’s South East’s hit music station” if it can pick up that far! Sometimes, it even picks up as far as Melton, a good 150kms away from the Star FM broadcast centre in Warragul! Anyway, here’s some of the stuff I picked up..
