@tekren6 i found a 5amp/250v fuse and cut a spring from a pen and put it back together and it worked haha so it was only 99cents for the fuse but thanks for the help!

tekren6 February 8, 2010 at 9:55 pm

I don’t know for sure. The fuse says 2A/250V on it. Does that help. I lost my fuse too. Then I pick up a pack of fuses for about 4 dollars. It was a package of fuses most commonly used in automotive cellular phones, stereos, Cd players……

haniballector666 February 8, 2010 at 10:55 pm

what size fuse does it use?

haniballector666 February 8, 2010 at 11:46 pm

@tekren6 do you know what fuse it takes? because I just lost mine and I need a new one

On the box it doesn’t say its compatible with the new 5th gen Ipods. I assume it is though correct? I just bought a new 5th gen IPod Nano and I want to know if this will be good for it?

Sorry to hear that you have had two units go bad on you already.

Punisher08 February 9, 2010 at 12:47 am

If youre looking for Heavy thumping bass, this product wont be for you. Also obviously it doesnt sound as good as those that have a direct AUX connection device. However with that said, ive found that this is the best wireless transmitter device that I have ever used.

I wish I could tell you for sure that it would work perfectly where you live, especially overseas. Unfortunately I can only give you my experience with the product where I live. Here in the states specifically Southern NJ and Philadelphia area, it works very well. There are two specific parts of Pennsylvania that I need to switch to a section channel but other than that it works great for me. I have been very happy with this product.

I would like to know how it works on actual driving, in a city like mine (Madrid, Spain) with lots of FM stations and you change from areas with a crowded dial to a clean transmiting station area and backwords. You know what I mean? Do you need to redial frequently? Thanks a lot.

tekren6 February 9, 2010 at 2:36 am

I bought this belkin product and i am so anti belkin to begin with but it looked like it was simple was a good concept ( the clearscan ) but what do you know?? After about 15 minutes it stopped working. Hmmmmm!?!? Great quality huh? I can imagine when some of you get this thing and use it for a couple months, there goes 80 bucks!!! Belkin comes out with such shitty products that r unreliable, this is a warning

danielsoaresfreire February 9, 2010 at 4:13 am

I was disappointed with the performance of my TuneBase. As I drive, the signal is lost and I have to search for another frequency.

ekserchina February 9, 2010 at 5:06 am

Ok…there is no static…but…what about when you’re driving your car around or somewhere in the boonies? I drive a lot so I wanna know if it will drop in the middle of nowhere. That would not be good. ANYONE?

TheAmybrew February 9, 2010 at 5:36 am

Can anyone tell me if this will work with the 1st Gen Ipod Nano?????

kujayhawks2313 February 9, 2010 at 5:59 am

for the price of that unit you might as well get it actually hardwired. fm transmitters are only as good as the signal that they acquire.

trainphantom February 9, 2010 at 6:14 am

great review. you have convinced me to buy one!

pyj2reid February 9, 2010 at 7:19 am

This works with the Iphone 3G for a little while then it quits on you. I’ve been through two of them. No explanation why it stops working. Except it will tell you when you plug it in that it won’t work with the iphone.
When I said it works though, it’s hard to keep it working well in one channel where I live (rural area).
I always have to be changing the channels to find a good reception.
I would do a bit of research before buying a product like this.

anto132 February 9, 2010 at 7:50 am

is the sound like a cd on using these things ?

surfnc25 February 9, 2010 at 8:26 am

dude this is wild I have been researching this exact device for my iphone 3g. I was worried about where my cig lighter is placed and if it would work ok or not and guess what you have the same exact car as me I’m assuming (07 honda accord). If you know of any issues with it working or charging with the iphone 3g please post. Thanks for a great video I’m sold for now.
